| Phoenix Orchid/ Cymbidium Orchid |
The Phoenix Orchid - with its long lush leaves and pretty masses of dainty flowers makes for an elegant floral display that is simply stunning. This orchid, is a Cymbidium Orchid which are also sometimes referred to as the "King of Orchids" .
Their long leaves make for a welcome change to the more commonly seen rounder leaved ones, and adds a tropical feel to the house (and in this cold winter, that is certainly welcome!).
Our orchid plant has been put into a darker coloured vase to match the purple speckles of the flower. Placed in our entrance hallway, the result is simply captivating!
This is one of many orchid displays currently making their way into our home to bring in the Lunar New Year! (I love orchids, so any excuse, really!)
